Currently, Berat works as a teaching and research assistant at Koç University, where he is also pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations. He has a particular interest in the MENA region, as well as topics like international security, migration, and comparative politics. Prior to pursuing his master’s degree, he worked in the OEM Relations and Defense Projects department of Turkish Technic. While taking classes to earn his credit, he is currently working on his thesis proposal, which focuses on migration and security.
